Does it really matter? Has LSU done anything worth getting excited over? All the talk will stop if LSU goes to UGA and wins. Who really cares since LSU still controls it's own destiny anyway?

Fituiakfk has been like the biggest LSU fan in the media for the last 5 years or so.

These guys aren't "reporters". They are entertainers. They do no actual reporting without their personal opinions/bias. Gottlieb commentating on football is like Corso commentating on baseball.

Phony indicates that LSU pretends to be something they are not.
I dou't think LSU has anything to do with their current ranking, beside win. The voters decide this stuff, not the team.

Gottlieb gets his biggest paycheck, which is probably no more than in the $1000/month range, from OKC's "Sports Animal" radio network, which now touts itself as the largest audience "per capita" in the U.S. What they fail to say is that the OKC marketplace is right up there with Mississippi in the "capita department".
He is a joke, as are many of these OU homers - as I stated in my post yesterday, the OKies are actually being pretty nice about our team - they only predict us to be a 3-loss team, not 4,5,or 6 like some of our own fans!

Means alot coming from a guy who was thrown out of Notre Dame because he stole another students credit card as well as personal property. He is a complete douche bag/criminal who should have gone to jail instead being allowed to transfer to OKA ST. Cowherd Junior.....They think they know everything and are real funny but I would love one of these athletes to knock the shite out of them....

doug gottlieb is a failure himself, he even hated us in 2007! thats why he is not broadcasting or on ESPNU anymore, he is terrible.

and last week they were saying that Miami was the best team and that both Florida State and Miami "were back."
