If Chizik was interested in coaching he would’ve come back already. He has enough money in the bank plus has a cushy ESPN gig.

If you google Gene Chizik ESPN, two articles pull up that cover him loving his ESPN gig and another talking about resigning from coaching to spend time with family. Dude is retired.

I don’t see this as necessarily bad thing. If that happens that means we were very good on that side of the ball. If your coaches aren’t getting poached you likely don’t have good coaches (except Venables)

I think he'd be better than Pelini because he understands you have to change with the times. Pelini is an arse that thinks he knows it all! You can tell by Chizik's assessments that he is tune with the current offenses being run and the different schemes defenses are running. He is very good at showing where breakdowns are occurring on both sides of the ball.
