What if Saban wins the NC and retires, we offer him the AD position. He would run a tight ship and not be pushed around.

Downvote if you want, but at least think about it.

Yep, he's going to come back to a school whose fans hate him to be their AD for $1,000,000

Whether you like it or not, he resurrected LSU football. I am old enough to appreciate that. There is no hate here.

Why would he come back to be AD for $1,000,000... the only coaches who take those kinds of jobs are people with an affinity for the university.

In his heart of hearts he still has feelings for LSU. You can tell in the freudian slips he makes sometimes. But not going to happen. The days of an ex coach as AD are over. It takes a different skillset, and a lot of the skills are things Saban abhors, like schmoozing with media and boosters.

Not to say a coach couldn't make a good AD, Skip did, but he's a completely different kind of cat than Saban.
