Does the team that gets the #1 seed in the final CFP rankings get to choose which bowl they want to go too? The Peach or Fiesta? Or is it already predetermined?

You can find your answer in the 30 previous threads with the same title. The #1 seed usually gets to request where they would rather go. Committee has the ultimate say so.

Of course they don't, but maybe they should. I like the idea.

I think they do get first option of where they prefer to play.

LSU had a great experience in Phoenix last year but I would assume they would take Atlanta to get the most fans possible.

If we're #1 and playing Utah or Oklahoma, we should definitely request Atlanta, but if we have to play Clemson I hope we end up in Phoenix.

If LSU is #1, they should request the Independence Bowl.
