Ideally he would redshirt but all bets are off.

Ryan Perrilloux's screwing up has set the qb position at LSU back at least 2 seasons.

We're going to have to hope one of these young kids can come in and play right away.

We also said Pat White couldn't play QB, and we wanted him to play WR, but look what he was doing at West Virgina...

No we didn't. He was going to play corner. Now Pat White is going to be a 1 small contract guy in the NFL for not listening to the coaches verses shut down corner.

He will be at 185, see Pat White, and QB from Appy St. is maybe smaller....He will be fine and does not need to ever get over 200, unless he will not lose speed. Ideal would be 190 is 2 years and maintain that weight.....He is not red shirting and will be that change of pace guy.

But there is no way Pat White could have played QB in the SEC. I don't think RS will redshirt unless he gets hurt, but I don't think he's ready to start at QB either. I think he catches some balls next year.

Should we recruit a QB every year?

Shepard will run the pistol to perfection next year as a change of pace.

Lee will have to lose his starting position and lets hope he doesn't.

Hopefully, Miles gives J.J. a lot of playing time the rest of the season so he can compete with Lee in the spring. J.J. deserves to play at least one quarter in each game for the rest of the regular season.

the best thing that could happen for the QB situation is for Jefferson to progress and either pass Lee up or push him to get a lot better.

No way, he will be here in January, go through Spring practice, and will be on the field next year. Watch his video, the guy is a game changer and can take a lick.

You don't red shirt 5 star QBs anymore. JR was a mistake, Flynn should have red shirted not JR.
