Sure, why not....why don't we start Eyanson if we play Thursday, and then close it with Anderson. Set us up perfectly for the finals.

Won’t start today but will absolutely pitch if they need him. He will start the game after they emerge from losers bracket.

Reliever pitch counts matter as well. Pitching guys on no rest is his things. Last year McIntyre threw 62 pitches on Thursday against LSU in a regular conference series and DVH put him to pitch again on Saturday. I don’t know many other SEC coaches that would have done that.

You have to get to the Finals first. So you do everything possible to get there. Yea sure it would be nice in a perfect world to have Anderson pitch Saturday and Eyanson Sunday in the Finals.
You get to the Finals and then you figure out who to pitch. But setting up the pitching for the Finals before you even make the Finals is not smart.
Again in a perfect world having Anderson and Eyanson pitch in the first 2 games of the Finals would be awesome. But now with the suspended game and Eyanson not being able to pitch for a couple days that scenario is thrown out the window. Sorry if you cant understand that.
