first, does rivers get in the game with more than 10 minutes left? I say no.
does he get to pass. again, no.
even if i'm wrong, it will be a small margin of error. This is based on experience of watching our coach in action.
Offensively, he will only extend as much as he has too.

hasn't thrown one all year. Here's to hoping we get to see him sling one.

If the 1st string OL is in, Mett needs to be in, and we really need to throw the damn ball.
We threw the damn ball 33 times in the SEC Championship Game with RP in there as a backup when he had all of one game's experience and a few option plays. We also had Hester & Keiland Williams, along with Chuck Scott at tailback.
Yet now we're only throwing it about 25-27.
The receivers and the QB and the line need the practice to develop continuity and gain experience.
Sure do wish we would've done this prior to now, though. Instead, we threw it about 23 or 25 times in our first few games. We could've loaded up on the pass and then completely okey-doked everyone against Auburn and punished them with the running game we already know we're capable of.
But instead, we'll cram for 4 quarters against Towson before heading off to Gainesville, and hope its enough.

I will guess that he toss it about 5 times. I also would like to see A.Williams get meaningful PT. I would like to see what he could really do.

He's thrown just as many times as Spencer Ware...

which basically means he hasn't thrown at all. I hope he gets some decent reps to build his confidence. Never know when he will be needed.

GFUNK, you can't post common sense like this on the board. WE MUST RUN THE DAMN BALL UNTIL WE BREAK THE BRICK WALL!

I hope he throws 30. We need to get the backup some work this year, just in case.
It's what we should have done with Mett last year, but we ended up.....well, we just didn't.
