It's funny how this excuse is used so much when we're in year 3 of O's tenure. It's just sad that some people buy it though.
It sucks because I think O was doing a decent job this season less the offense. He is doing well in recruiting. Getting us players in key areas we are deficient in. He got Burrow because Brennan wasn't ready and he got Tracy to improve ST. All good things. It will be disappointing to see him get fired for the same reason as the person he replaced but if he chooses that route so be it. I will have no sympathy for him.

O is gonna look out for O. He threw his players under the bus last night, he’d have no trouble putting staff up on the marble slab to save his own hide. He would actually make a really good character on GOM. He would look right at home in the garb and has the conniving and ruthlessness to fit right in.

No, O is not going to make any change whatsoever. We have to pray ensminger steps down on his own. He is a grumpy ole fricker. Hopefully he'll just throw in the towel.

Orgeron has backed himself into a corner. If he fires his OC for the second year in a row it's a PR nightmare and he looks weak and confused. He admits he's made two bad hires for a key position.
There is no guarantee that we get new players who are game changers.
Orgeron's seat will be on fire next year if the offense is in the tank again. No one wants to watch that shite show and the D may not be as good next year without Greedy and Devin.

I'm not using it as an excuse, I'm simply saying what I think will happen.
And I said "more time in the system," meaning the reason will be given, by Orgeron, that the players need more than one full season to be able to successful run the offense.
That will bring up the question of why Canada wasn't given more than one full season. No matter which way he goes, Orgeron is has his back against the wall regarding the OC position.
A lot will ride on major improvements next season. So, basically we will go into next season exactly the same as we did this season.
