At his intro press conference 8 weeks ago, he said he wanted to run a pro-style offense with a pro-style QB. In yesterday's press conference, he said he wanted to run a spread offense with a dual-threat QB.

eta: He sounds like a politician. Just repeating whatever he's coached to say.

i think he was being honest on both instances. He was interim and wanted to support Etling as his starter. Now, as HC, he prefers the dual threat as a going forward strategy.

dual threat but I don't think he is dumb enough to try to fit a guy like Etling into a DT role.

You don't dump E. He had a year under his belt, is smart, learns from mistakes, and can manage a game. The players play for him. I feel real good about his chances next year.

He fixed that statement weeks ago after the Bama game. Could not afford to lose out on Narcisse.

This has been a larg part of Lsu's problem with qb's over the last 10 years. They can't make up their minds and this will seemingly continue with Orgeron. We should never be recruiting Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson.

It really doesn't matter as long as the OC can mold his scheme around them.

Bama has historically had pocket passers, this season they have dual threat and aren't skipping a beat.

If Miles had a good QBS coach and OC that he left alone then you would have seen a different offense and qb development.

Most of the qbs Miles had were 4 star highly recruited players, they were just never developef
