Chris Garrett will hopefully earn the starting job this spring

You dropped Lee? Now its on to Garrett? Do we get a repeat of the insanity of you spouting the greatness of Lee and the ineptitude of JJ at every opportunity? That is until you were continually proven wrong on both counts.

Now you are spouting the virtues of a QB who has never taken a snap? What happened to your worship of Lee?

You are a pievce of work.

Surely not. Watching the 108th ranked offense was depressing.

he was best his first and last game this year and against Auburn and Tulane, so don't try to say that he isn't improving

Your just a dummy man.

can you read? actually by those stats he was better vs wash than against ark.
JJ as a qb didnt impress me more throughout the season, Id like to know exactly which part of his game he improved on?
Au and Gtech are his two games that he hangs his hat on.

I certainly hope there is some competition for the starting job in the spring, but someone is really going to have to separate themselves from JJ to win the job, otherwise we'll be going with a new QB for 4 seasons in a row. If someone takes the job away from him, it should be on the field.

I agree, not extremly thrilled about the idea of 3 yrs in a row having green qb starting.

if JJ plays decent and LSU beats PSU, unless injured, JJ will have the QB position locked up for the next 2 yrs.

Don't you think going thru 2 whole years of having an inexperienced quarterback enough? He should stick with him.

Garrett is definitely the QB of the future, but do we really want to go 3 seasons in a row with an relatively inexperienced QB? A big part of the offensive problems is QB indeciveness which comes form lack of experience. Let JJ play next year but get Garrett as many snaps as possible to give him some experience. Then the following year it should open up some real competition for the position and let the best man win.

just forget it. Tigerlee and msutiger want the best white qb to start. I thought we already covered this. If you can't tell that jj has improved throughout the season , then you just don't want to.

it's not a toss.
Go check Todd's stats, they were better than JJ's. Doesnt really matter with him b/c he is a sr anyway, I thought he was a JR.

Dont get me wrong I hiope JJ is all sec this year. If he is hes got alot of work to do.
My grandmother has enough sense to see that.

This blind optimism/faith/mancrush some of you have is a bit wierd
At least try to be somewhat objective.

JJ doesn't have to be superman, just needs to continue to improve. He will be one of the better QB's in the SEC next year.
