OK, do you realize he's only been at LSU for a little over a year and has already had a 10-win season and beat Alabama?

Do you remember the dumpster fire he took over? Considering where he started and where LSU is now is night and day! We still have a ways to go, but it takes time! The key is we're headed in the right direction!

If we beat them, and we can if we play to a good level, we'll be 3 out of the last 5.

Let the Gumps chew on that one for the next year...

You could have sworn that it was warm after the Ole Miss game up until the first quarter of the Missouri game

He doesn't need any win, but if we are going to continually start the season slow a Bama win would at least buy him some good grace.

He walked into a championship roster so there’s really no excuse as to why it should take more than a year to win a natty

Tell me you dont follow the program without telling me you don't follow the program.

No he doesn't need to beat Bama to keep his job and his seat isn't even close to warm. If beating Bama was a must then no one would have a job. He beat Bama last year. Losing to them on the road this year is no factor on BKs standing as a head coach. It will be a disappointment to the fan base bc we expected Atlanta this year.

BK has one of the best resumes in football. He gets 4 years to recruit and get get the program where he wants it before you start talking about his status as the head coach.

Umm nope. I was asking a question while submitting examples of opposing views. The Bama game, from 2022, would have simply been another of those examples.

If Alabama loses to LSU, Paul Finebaum and the Bama homers will go into full panic mode

he survives another year if we don't win the bama game

I second that emotion! He survives-- because it's universally recognized this year our depth on defense isn't great. LSU is a great offense team, and mediocre to poor defensively-- beating Bama ON THE ROAD this year is a tall order.

The Bama game would save a two loss season. Probably a New Year's six bowl instead of outback.
