I have not seen anything besides that he was progressing well in late January. Any info would be appreciated.

Last i heard he wasnt quite where they wanted him to be around the start of the season.

Availability for this season is in serious jeopardy. Wouldnt count on meaningful innings out of JV this yr

Was hoping we would get him back for some meaningful bullpen innings in the back half of the season. The silence around the topic makes it seem unlikely.

I've listened to about every Jay interview and no one has asked him about Coleman. Need one of the reporters to ask about him.

Sucks that he got an injury that will keep him out two full seasons. My guess is he won't be playing this season because the pitching spots are already crowded and there's no need to bring him back until he's 100%. Most likely won't be in the running until fall ball.

I’m hoping the silence around him is Jay trying to be sneaky. I believe he is tossing now (could be wrong) and if he is he certainly could round into throwing shape and be another guy out of the pen for an inning here or there. His talent absolutely would be useful if he can go, even if for short bursts.
He’s in uniform, looks strong, I suspect he’ll pitch this year. (Obviously I’m optimistic)

What’s the status of Jaden Noot? I read an article that he was out for the season, but also saw someone say he will be available.

Just curious

As of 2 weeks ago, Jay said Coleman threw a bullpen session and felt good afterwards. It was a tweet from Koki Riley. Not sure how to link things though. Haven’t heard an update since then

I doubt we see Coleman in any real capacity this year. Maybe they try him out in a blowout SEC game or mid-week game later this year but now that we're into conference play going to be really difficult to carve out any meaningful role for this season unless they get him out there pretty quick. It's unlikely he will be sharp when he first starts pitching live in games.

A week or so ago he was hanging around the bullpen with a large two piece brace on his arm. Did not look very promising that he would be able to build up enough to be able to pitch this year in competition.....but I am not a doctor or trainer.

Mahtook brought him up on his show a couple days ago and said mid April at the earliest. Not sure if he was guessing based on traditional rehab schedules for TJ or was speaking to sources he knows.

Before the start of the season Jay also said, “UCL injury’s typically take 18 months.” Having Coleman would make our bullpen elite!
