Meh. They had a good run with a little dirt under the nails, but LSU would've taken them anyway. They're kinda irrelevant lately. Media props them, but USCw doesn't live up. They'll tire of being wrong.

it was not to defy the BCS. SC was #1 in both polls prior to the bowls and BCS selctions. AP #1 wins, they stay #1--always have. It was nothing unusual.
