We could start out by doing what works best and not going away from it--that being the run.
The counter trap was eating UGA's lunch, but despite the success, it was only run maybe 3 or 4 times that I recall. We got out of the game, so we had to start throwing more. We can't keep playing from behind like we are.
We go in there and get chunks of yards on the ground, and what happens? We go to the air on a deep route that winds up incomplete.

Keeping the offense on the field more gives the defense more time to rest.
I agree with this, and not so much about the rest because they had plenty right before that series where Tebow made that play in the third quarter that broke us imo. But the clock mgmt, less three in outs and if the other team does not have the ball there is less chance of them scoring. That having been said I do think we would have beat GA but not FL, they just had our number that day.

I think we still would have lost both (UF, UGA) because we dont have the kind of defense we have enjoyed in the past. We got spoiled. Anyone can hang points on this defense and I really dont mean to be critical--just honest. They arent as talented as years past.

I would venture to guess he would have not handed UGA 17 points.
Regardless, who cares. He's on JSU, he played a major role in winning us a NC, now he's gone.

It seems to me that these conjectures are much like the "Heroes" saga on TV: Someone can go back and change something in the past to correct something in the future. However, to change something in the past brings on a whole new set of events (circumstances) that are entirely unpredictable. Chances are that, if RP had NOT gotten into trouble, we would not be having this discussion. Or, we could have it regardless. Or RP could have been hurt, or LSU lost three games, or ad infinitum...
