Do we bring oxygen masks to our FB players during timeouts?

I’ve seen Bama and a few other schools do this in addition to giving them oxygen on the bench.

Well they give horses drugs to increase their Oxygen intake which allows a plug horse to run like a multi million dollar stud. B vitamins do the same on a vastly smallet scale, so I would say it would be wise to give them Oxygen for performance alone.

At sea level, unless a player has underlying lung issues such as asthma, emphysema, etc., there is minimal effect from supplemental oxygen. A player can not saturate above 100%. Application of face mask oxygen had mostly a placebo affect.

It’s a good way to pass around respiratory viruses from reusing masks.

Multiple minimal effects add up. Adding a shadow staff was once seen as a minimal effect.
