Two negiTigers sit behind me in Death Valley. They both clock in around 300 pounds. We have nicknamed them Two Tons of Fun. They fly in from Houston and Dallas for each game. All that time and money just to bitch when the other team makes one first down.

heaven forbid someone should get upset watching a football game, thats unacceptable.

We should all sit around, eat creamsicles, drink water, and be happy with the squandering of talent on the field.

Ive said 8-4 all year, considering its the most realistic outcome based on the schedule.

I am not pleased with mediocrity. I don't enjoy 3-5, 4-4, 5-3 SEC records. I want to win the SEC.

I don't know if that makes me a "Negatiger," which is perhaps the worst term ever coined on the Internet.

However, if it does, then Negatigers do indeed travel to away games, since I have been to most over the last several years.

Based on the opinion of most of the idiots on this board, I would likely be considered a "NegaTiger" and I usually go to 2 away games a year. I was in Atlanta last weekend and hopefully will wind up in Gainesville this year. I was also in Seattle last year and Auburn the year before.

I apologize Lonnie. The coaching I witnessed against Tennessee, Ole Miss, and UNC were not idiotic, they were brilliant. It is apparant that you are satisfied with the job Les has done and that you will support his coaching as "what is best for LSU" unless he has a total break down leaving you no choice but to want another coach. That's your right as a fan, but I don't accept his coaching to this point as being worthy of LSU. So, my opinion of what 3 million dollars a year buys you looks to be more than what you think 3 million a year should buy. I don't see how wanting LSU to be better makes anyone a negatiger.

I'm only saying that right now, we are 1-0 and about to open SEC play. Last week we were very close to suffering a loss despite and incredibly incompetant coaching performance. We didn't lose though and this team, in my opinion, can really be special. Should we not have a year that lives up to our capablities, I can't support Les anymore. So that's what or else means you queen. You though, can continue to blame all of Les' shortcomings on the mean old fans that keep picking on our coach as long as you want and you will only be making the journey back to a premier football program that much longer and more difficult.

I respect the 52 wins, the 2 west titles, the SEC title, the 5 bowl games, the 2-0 BCS record, and the NC.

Due to his having the best results in LSU history, a NC, and the 09 team having a 2 game regular season improved record from 08, I'm willing to back his play a tad longer without a lot of pissing and moaning. If you can't, so be it.

Remember ..... for Positigers, anyone not under the inluence and not intoxicated by the Kool Aid, is a Negatiger.

Reality is not an option for them...here is their Method of Operation..

I love the message that living in reality is being negative

The most negativity I have seen on this message board is ironically from the "positigers". They are the ones that are constantly bitching and going out of their way to personally attack those that aren't rah rah cheerleaders.

The good news for the negatigers is that one day Miles will be gone (hopefully soon).

The bad news for the rest of you sorry sons of bitches is that you are stuck with us negative people for the rest of your lives!

Every negatiger thinks they are a "realist."

The true reality is that every football team has its flaws. Alabama went 14-0 last season and played poorly in several of their games. Do you recall that Alabama was nearly beaten at home by Tennessee last year? It took a 400 lb man improbably blocking a kick for them to survive.

As Kiffin was quoted:

quote:

"It's a difficult loss to deal with," Kiffin said. "You come into a hostile environment and play the No. 1 team in the country, as I said before by far the No. 1 team in the country and the best-coached team around. You come in here and outgain them by [nearly] 100 yards and miss three field goals. I don't believe in moral victories, we should have won that game.

Now, a negaGump, would bitch and moan. How did we let that clearly overmatched Tennessee team nearly beat us? What the hell was Saban thinking letting them get that onside kick? If Ingram fumbles him again, he should be benched! Get Lacey in there!

But I'm willing to bet that there aren't a lot of negaGumps.

Negatigers dwell on the almost losses to Miss State and poor performance v, La Tech. Positigers cite the fact that we came "this close" to winning at least 3 of the 4 games we lost last year.

Both live in reality. Some people are just positive by nature and others are negative.

If the Tigers keep winning, the pendulum will swing back. People will realize the negatigers' hyperbole is just that. If LSU loses, the pendulum will keep going negative.

Can you define, please, in detail what 'idiotic' coaching you witnessed in these games?

Don't give me generalities, give me the specifics and try to leave out the sarcasm. Maybe you can convince me...?
