He didn't say Miles is dumb. And just because someone points out the obvious that the offense sucks doesn't mean they don't like Miles. I'm a friggin Miles homer, and I can see the offense sucks, and Mett isn't getting the job done.
That said, he's the best we have. So run the fuggin ball. Like RTS said, too late to "work on the passing game". We had Spring Practice, Fall Camp, and a slate of patsies early in the year to do that.

What would it take for you to admit that there are some glaring deficiencies on this team? Just curious.

Yes we have some issues. I posted this in another thread. It's a testament to the players and coaches that we are still in great position heading into the bama game with these issues.
But many here act as if miles can push some button to fix things and he doesn't because he's stubborn. Or they know better than the coaches, etc.

this is how i see shite.
mettenberger is obvisouly inconsistant.
i wish they would give him some freedom to make audibles, (which towards the end i think he was doing) but when they have 8-9 people in the box its hard to run against that. check out of that. we need to do both run and pass. i love how mettenberger took shots and went vertical but he defenitly needs help on his accuracy. if he can show other teams that he can make the throw if needed it will make our run game 5x more dangerous. Another aapect of the offense that wasnt there today was passes to the rbs and it seems like the only route we have thats over the middle is a slant. You do have tight ends.
bottom line, the WR's need to do better catching wise, blocking wise they are doing great imo. Mettenberger has a great arm but he needs to not overthrow everytime.
