Has Miles become complacent and lost his edge or was he in over his head when he was hired and still is?

You think LSU's MOST SUCCESSFUL HEAD COACH EVER, IS IN OVER HIS HEAD?
The rant is pathetic.

Does the dumbass miles haters realize that Les Miles has the highest winning % in SEC HISTORY( 100 games minimum coached). Higher than Bear, Saban and Spurrier.

Miles is neither innovative nor does he seem to hire the flash in the pan next weird OC or DC. He is doing what has worked f a long time and does it adapting to the skillsets of todays youth. That to me is innovative in and of itself.

He makes old school look new and because it is genuine and authentic Les I just dont see him as a burnout Meyer.

Just wanted to reiterate this to really let that sink in for a minute.

But but but none of those guys had the talent to work with that Miles does amirite??

Our talent would win every game if it wasn't for Miles. Except 08, that was because Miles hired Co-DCs

Very few people can handle success in any field. Think of Tom Cruise or Britney Spears. These people go crazy once they reach the top. People evolved into organisms that must struggle to be happy. Once they achieve success they get the illusion that there is no need to struggle. Then they stop doing the things that got them there.

If you want an LSU coach to whom this applies, it's not CLM; it's CPM. After winning the championship he decided he could be an "executive coach". The failure that followed led to a rededication and to more success.

I'm convinced that the posters that say," It's easy to win at LSU", aren't over the age of 20.

I think Miles reaches a point in each season where he is convinced he has a good team and goes forward with that. I also think he coaches against the opponent and not against the perfect game, therefore he is satisfied with a close win with numerous errors. So you rarely see behind chewings for a punter who shanks one in the fourth quarter when up by 48. Also may be the reason behind the fortunes of BAMA and LSU have gone the way they have the past few years. Maybe not.

Meyer didnt burn out! Him being way in over his head is what really caused him all those sleepless stomach problems. Dont give that fraud any excuse. In fact, his only way out was to lie to everyone about this mysterious illness that remarkably went away the exact day EASY arse Ohio State called. He had sunk to the bottom and there was no life support or anyone to blame. He quit on Florida and the SEC. Quitting in this profession is shameful and hypocritical. I cant believe he got away with that story of complete bullshite. Most people still think he's the 2nd best coach in the profession? If u cant stomach coaching in the best conference, you cant be a top coach. At easy OSU, where u and me could win 8 games a year, he will win more games than anyone moving forward. But he cant handle the athletes down here or stomach the recruiting necessary to be successful in the SEC.

Good assessment of Miles, he is continually improving on his craft and there's no way anyone with half a brain can question his stomach. It must be made of steel. He gets ripped daily and never blinks. He walks around like he doesnt have a care in the world.

Miles is a proven winner and he's genuine. Find that elsewhere.

I think Les Miles is all about competition and enjoying life. I don't think he gets so uptight about Saban or setbacks like 90% of the fan base does.

Miles appears to be comfortable with situations beyond his control. I believe he enjoys his players and doesn't look at his players as pawns to just win championships. He truly cares for them. If Miles wanted to coach another ten years , I sense he would have the time of his life. Regardless of fan disapproval of a ten win season, there will always be a smile on the face of the most peaceful leader at LSU.
