He’s not a lead WR. He’s a mike Wallace, will fuller type. Guys at the combine had the same observations as me. Left yards on the field with drops & trouble gauging deep ball. Are we watching the same coverage?

I'd take a young Mike Wallace all day as #2.

Chark will definetely improve his game with proper coaching. People want to really know why our WRs have looked off since Beckham and Landry, 4 different WR coaches in 4 years.

Diarse, athlete
Dupre, raw
Dural, athlete and raw
Chark, athlete and raw
Sullivan, athlete and raw
Davis, athlete and raw
Dillon, athlete and raw
Gage, athlete and raw

We've had huge talents at this position, but all but Quinn were raw and few fully played the WR position before coming to LSU.

Couple that with the antiquated offense that passed less and less each year, and arse to mediocre QB play, and these guys have never been put in a position to succeed.

It's a similar situation to the QB problem.

Lester Earl told me he wouldn't run a sub 4.4 last year and that he wasn't better than trey Quinn.

Chark was always a sub 4.4 guy.

As an overall receiver in terms of who will probably make the most immediate impact in the league... Trey is better.

Chark is going in the top 50 and you still think Quinn is a better wr?

Quinn is a more complete WR. Being successful is a lot about fit. More complete you are the easier it is to fit.

And I never said Chark wouldn’t run 4.4 that is made up

Special shout out to Les for not playing him until the last game of his sophomore season.
Yeah, because he came in with Jr WR skills.

Like most WRs, DJ was very raw arriving LSU, and not sure why we go through this dumbassery every single year.

From 2014 scouting-
Strengths: Return Ability, Speed/Explosion, RAC
Weaknesses: Hands, Route Running, Lack of Production

He absolutely killed it, not to mention he killed it at the Senior Bowl too.

Prior to 2013 this place said same stuff about Beckham and Landry.
I guess the want it now generation doesn't realize most HS WRs are going to have to be molded into the WRs seen at the combine, especially Chark who was considerably less polished than the 2 superstars.

Ok. Just admit you were wrong about him just as you were about OBJ.

I wasn’t wrong about him, he is exactly what I know he is. I knew he was fast, I knew he could get downfield. None of this is new to me.

You said Quinn wasn’t going to get drafted & that Darrell Williams wouldn’t play in the nfl. And you want me to admit I was wrong for pegging a guy for exactly what he is. go away you lil gnat

I pegged ODB too. My post about him was I regards to watching him play HS basketball. Bitch attitude that has carried over to present Day, Dig up my draft posts on him and I was high on him while a lot of this board couldn’t see it.

Route running & hands is a good start. He just killed the gauntlet. People are talking about him & have been for weeks

Are you watching the combine or twitter? Michael Irvin both raved about him when he’s got on camera, and the scouts are starting to take notice of how polished he is. Ironically, he’s shown the best natural hands of both groups so far.
