I don't think that should be a valid worry since he's been around the team, and practicing (right?), for weeks now, wearing his jersey on the sideline during games and whatnot.

Unless the person(Cole) has insight into that particular locker room, I would dismiss that as just a time filler to debate about. I don't have any insight, but I think there is something to be said about senior leadership, I'll leave it at that.
