Even most legalization advocates will agree that driving under the influence should not be legal. The problem with that is testing for it. Because THC can remain in fat cells for up to a month in regular heavy users, it's impossible to objectively test for intoxication. That kid might have last smoked weed a week before that accident.

Maybe not but depending on where you live... who you work for... and where you attend college with your damn near free education tied to a sport... it's a really dumb arse thing to do. A suspension is a punitive action. What's the punitive nature of the action if you're telling the player you'll still get to play in the most important moments? This particular version of a "suspension" is window dressing. For what reason, I don't know but they might as well just not suspend him and put our best foot forward for every damn game.

No i just want you to articulate the difference between psychological dependence and physical addiction, and then admit that, while alcohol causes the latter, marijuana does not.
