Vandy also beat Alabama, beat 15-6 TCU, took a top 10 USC to OT, and took ranked Kentucky and UT down to the wire. Vanderbilt was projected to be a lot better than their record stands currently. It was a road loss in a game we were down 16 in the second half and came back to take the lead briefly late.
This is the same team except for a new true freshman that won 10 games last year. They have played harder and have only lost two games where they didn't have a chance to win, Notre Dame early in the season and to 18-2 Auburn Saturday. If you can't see the improvement if you're going to all the games, then you have a warped perspective on how they played last year compared to this year. It's been night and day different. Hell, they've already surpassed their overall and SEC win totals from last year, and we're not even halfway through the SEC schedule.
