I agree with you that all 3 had a negative impact on the ‘24 team/season. I disagree that CBK could have done anything about Denbrock leaving. Denbrock was pretty adamant that he was choosing to return to ND for reasons other than football so you can’t put that on CBK IMO.

That being said, there’s no doubt that losing Denbrock had a MUCH bigger impact on the offense than anyone thought/expected it to when Denbrock left to be ND’s OC. Denbrock is a pretty good, very experienced college OC

It really took him longer than it should have to adjust to the culture of football down here and how things work. You can't IMHO blame the fact that he's not from here, Saban adjusted very quickly.

I do think he's a good coach, though it seems to me he's a bit unlikable for many. I think he's finally rectified most if not all of the issues you list which seem to me mostly reasonable. We have more talent and depth of talent than we've had since he's been here and I don't think it's even debatable or close.

Now let's see what he does with it. He can shut a lot of us up with a good year here. I hope he does.
