Thanks for the replies...I assumed they flew after last night, but it just seemed like the would of driven to MSU.

They flew in to Golden Triangle regional Airport in Columbus, Mississippi. Starkville's airport is too small

I'm sure they had to be back in BRG to go to class this morning. Charter flight back to BRG would be within the time frame.
What a Great country?

They fly to every game but anything in NOLA...it allows the coaches to be back in the office in the morning and the students to get back to class...

but the band and auxillary busses it
Yep, and had to miss an entire second day of class for it. By flying back the football players can get right back to class.
The band (no auxillary at pep band trips) got back around 3pm today, I believe.

LSU kicks arse first class and LSU flies first class. This isn't the Lamar Cardinals or Incarnate Word college man.
We are too cool for that. We don't ride Greyhound buses for 6 hours.

It's a 5+ hours drive to Starkvegas.
For you and me, perhaps. But you are forgetting about SEC speed, and LSU is just ... that ... good.

I heard we have so much speed that half the team ran back to Baton Rouge before midnight.
