He's scared

That may be, but my impression is/was that Miles and Cam were scared of getting him hurt. They didn't trust Jennings last year and weren't sure what they had with Etling this year. Now that they know what Etling can do, there should be no fear in getting Harris hurt. He can practice a legit read option where he actually gets to make the reads. Can add a pull up pass out of that formation to try against Auburn or Florida for an easy td. And I know Harris is a pocket QB, but that doesn't mean he's not fast. We saw plenty of that in '14 and some last year before he got hurt.

And I listened to about 15 minutes of radio last night, and on 2 different shows, 2 different former LSU players--Gordy Rush and T-Bob Hebert--were saying exactly what I said. You have to find a way to pick Harris up and keep him engaged. He will be needed again. I know these guys are just pieces of meat to most of you assholes, gladiators battling for your mere amusement, but you may be surprised to know that their coaches and teammates--gasp!!!--actually care about them as people. And when you care about someone who fricks up, you don't pile on them, you don't ignore them, you encourage them.

I think it'd be smart to let Harris run some zone read

Yes since we have utilized this so much and BH has proven he is good at it.

Everyone needs to understand that miles wants out. He is trying to get fired. The loss against Wisconsin was preventable and he knew it and intentionally blew it. Etling solidified his starting position in front of the nation watching our dumpster fire offense. If miles pulls him in favor of happy-feet then he wants out.

Les said that DE would start but that as soon as DE makes one tiny mistake BH would get the nod and play until LSU is too far behind to mount a comeback.

And if that happens, we'll be looking forward to a new coach. So no worries.
