JJ >>>>>> LSU Football >>>>>> LSU

That's what it all boils down to. Most are family/friends as you said...and they couldn't care less of the well-being of LSU, they are just concerned about the well-being of JJ. Incidentally, that is exactly the way JJ has always came across at LSU. It is borderline comical to hear all the posters on here talking about how much bigger, faster, stronger, quicker, smarter, etc...after watching 3 plays against a bad team that was already beaten down. It really is comical. Then you call them out on it and they go wild. I specifically love Just Me......(which I definitely believe to be JJ or someone in the family)...he is ALL-IN JJ....keeps talking about the great finish he had....without keeping in mind playing two horrible passing defenses in ole miss and a&m. Heck, JJ was bad at arkansas...and ULM, during that stretch.

Oh..I see. So three running plays against a bad team that was already run down, and we hear how much faster, stronger, etc......but in the end, he couldn't finish the drive.....which is the norm with him for about 90% of the time. You guys just don't want to see or admit that.

disagree? didn't they have to bring in JL on third and long on the drive? Just curious? you laugh at this while it was the same crap we saw last year. The 100th ranked qb in passing efficiency who can run a little...leads to a bad offense that scores approximately 2 tds less a game than we have now. Debate that!

Or we care more about LSU rather than the player. I for one feel LSU has improved as a team with JJ back. As do many others that know something about football.

Objective posting; You should try it.

Take off the blinders. Did anyone in this thread say JJ should be starting? Anyone? How about a quote? Can you Quote anyone in this thread saying this? Did anyone even mention JJ vs JL until you came along?

Are you so upset with JJ that you can't admit he is in better shape than ever before in his LSU career?

Or are you just such a poor observer of football that you couldn't tell the difference?

I care more for the team. That is why we need a QB not ranked at the bottom of the league in passer rating. Why do you think our O is clicking so much better this year. You do realize we are averaging 160 yards a game through 5 games, compared to 90 through 5 games last year by JJ. I played college ball. In addition, I think many of the analyst that are out there (herbsteit) are saying the same thing...don't mess with a good thing. JJ would be okay around the goal line (I guess), but then again look at the difference in red zone efficiency. Incidentally, isn't it amazing that the same JJ pumpers are saying we can't run the ball as well without JJ, but doesn't that lead to more reason to appreciate the job JL is doing at QB, given that the offense is averaging 2 more td's a game so far...

back at you and everyone else in this thread.

First to claim JL isn't that good, his numbers are against weak defenses, no difference between this years offense and last years, etc, etc, etc.

Let JJ run the ball three times and it's 6 pages **gushing** about his greatness.

Yall are so transparent it's actually funny. even more entertaining when you claim "objectivity".

Should JJ be on the team, sure. Should he play, who knows...but we haven't needed his skills yet.

LSU was a better team for having both JJ/JL last season and LSU is/will be a better team for having JL/JJ this season.

Anyone not able to note/deal with that fact shouldn't be talking bout how "comical" others appear to them.imo

right in front of us:

100th out of 116 in passer rating and efficiency last year.

Scoring 14 more points a game this year compared to last year.

top 20 in the nation in scoring this year, ranked #80 last year through 5 games.

Red zone in the tops of the nation through 5 games, last year near the bottom of the nation.

Those are staring us in the face.
