Did Jefferson short-arm catch the long ball?

Looked like he kept his hands close in case the head shot was forthcoming and then reached out and snagged it when he saw he wouldn’t get killed?

he caught it and could have gotten murdered. most receivers would have dropped that ball

If he did, I don't blame him. The FS could have crushed him on that play. Luckily, it looked like the FS froze for a split second trying to decide whether to blow up Jefferson or try to pick the pass off. That split second allowed Jefferson to cut in front and make the catch.

Looks like he timed his stretch and slide/step to left together.
Don't want to stretch too early and put DBs on alert and break stride.
Doing the together allowed him to make the catch without being murdered, DB had to choose between his hips and hands.
