Did Jai beat out Hawkins?

i dunno. thats strange though because last week it was supposedly jai vs peterson. i also had heard, just somebody close to the dbs, that supposedly miles and chavis called hawkins in and told him he was having the best spring of the dbs, but that came out of hawkins mouth

Yeah and CS and KW could be the starting RB and FB so that could be why they are both on the white team. But in regards to Jai and Hawkins, they could just be doing that to give hawkins the chance to go against the 1st team offense and get more experience, they could also switch teams (from purple to white) in the spring game, and they could also just want Jai to have more experience with the first team defense just in case they need to play him more this next year. I wouldn't read that much into it right now
