20 yrs ago, you would have a point. However, w/ the Advocate, Times-Picayune & other LA newspapers available on-line plus several LSU-oriented sports talkshows streaming over the Internet, it's not difficult to follow LSU news out of state. I can testify to that since I've lived in LA a grand total of 6 months since Aug '98.
