Should have served a bowl of gumbo with a few fried catfish filets for $10.

I refuse to believe the gumps can cook gumbo better. Refuse.

gumps dont know gumbo. I entered in a 12 person gumbo-off earlier this year when i lived in Huntsville. I took 3rd. First place was like someone emptied a whole bottle of File powder in. It was all you could taste. Second place was a Gump who called in his family to vote for his soupy bowl of crap.

The votes I got were from people who had actually had Louisiana gumbo before. Said mine was far and away the best.

I was blown away at what the gumps thought was gumbo.

I didn't understand why people wasted hours in line for it.

Probably more to support the cause than for the Gumbo itself.

I didn't wait in line at all, paid my $5 and walked right through. It was by no means the best I'd ever had but good for gumpified gumbo.
