get it would be a rethread but why don’t they just call Mullen
that would be a good hire for them. They just need someone to make them dangerous, win some games they arent supposed to. That person would be a great hire for Moo st

Does Denbrock call the 4h and short plays? Because they can have whoever calls those.

I’m not mad at that, Sloan takes his place in that situation

So you think they can turn any QB into JD? Like any player, they have to do a lot more than just show up to mandatory practices and lifting programs. Kelly says today that he prepares like a pro and is obsessed with it. Not everyone can catch on.
The short answer to your first question is no.

However your sentiment as to JD's preparation and obsession is poop without great coaching. Do you think CBK will take all the credit for JD5's development of course not. Plenty of athletes prepare and are obsessed with little to show for it.

Providing you do not think JD5's game is a complete 180 from last season I'm not sure what we have to discuss, especially if you discredit the elite coaching, he received at LSU. Prior to that coaching he had the tools but did not consistently put them to good use. This season is 100% different. That is a win for the coaching staff.

So yeah I think any QB recruit and their family would have LSU & this staff as one of their top program destinations.
