Et tu, Dell-e?

quote:

Ross Dellenger picks Florida: Todd Grantham's Gators defense is hitting its stride at just the right time, with a home game against LSU and a neutral site game against Georgia bookending a road trip to Vanderbilt. The Tigers have a strong defense of their own and an offense that is steadily improving. Expect things to be decided on the last possession in Gainesville.

I love it. The Friday d-bag on Sports Today picked UF too. The ESPN machine shite has them with a 58% chance to win. LSU is going to wreck that team tomorrow.

I don't know. It's refreshing to see local reporters not being hopeless homers.

This game is going to be tough. Anybody hoping for some Tiger blowout is being foolishly optimistic. Game could go either way.

People act like we're playing Little Sisters of the Poor or something. UF has guys that will play on Sunday. This isn't going to be a walk in the park.

It’s a classic of someone overcompensating in an effort to appear objective.

Now, we are playing a ranked team on the road. It’s not the hottest take ever.

The confidence is reminding me of the asswhipping everyone expected in 2016. Hopefully it doesn't play out hat way.

It's also hilarious that you're getting a lot of downvotes for stating a simple truth cheeri0s have the thinnest of skin.

What's going to be funny, win or lose, is if our offense struggles against a solid UF defense, and then watching this place lose it's mind again.

If you agree that it isn't some hot take, how is it overcompensating? This game is basically a pick'em.

That's fine, and honestly, I don't disagree. It will be a defensive struggle.
Both teams have good defenses, and both offenses may struggle. It will be hot and humid and a sold out stadium. So, the atmosphere is going to be electric. The environment and home stadium is always good for a few points and I also think this may come down to a last second field goal. Unlike past years, we have a solid kicker and if so, I like our chances. But, this game will be tough!

Read what he wrote. He picked UF, but said it come down to the last posession. What's so "try hard" about that?

Day games in the swamp haven't historically been our friend.

If it's going to be decided on the last possession why wouldn't you pick the team that has already proven it can win a tough road game on it's last few possessions? Sometimes these guys reasoning make no sense.

His reasoning is pretty sound. Don't be a pussy and whine that someone didn't pick your team.

Because the other team is coached by a guy that bent us over last year with less talent and is playing at home. Picking UF isn't crazy. I'm not doing it, but let's not pretend like we should be some runaway favorite in this game.

LOL

Have y'all watched Florida? We beat them by +20. Their offense is HORRIBLE. I repeat HORRIBLE.

Yeah, they kepted Miss St. to a low score. Miss St. offense is dog shite since Mullen left.

I expect a couple field goals from Florida. 6 points. That's it.
