It will be closer than it should be. We'll win, but we won't win as impressively as Bama.

23-20 Tigers.

Not at all. We'll have to see the game plan to comment on LSU being/not being who we thought we were. We saw against MSU that Miles won't press the issue if the other team can't score. If Les is super conservative in play calling, and LSU wins 26-7 that doesn't mean LSU sucks.

It won't be that close. It may remain close in the first quarter and a half, but come the third quarter things are just going to snowball and they are going to get blown off the field.

From ESPN's "What Did We Learn"

quote:

3. John Brantley is more important to Florida's offense than we thought: We criticized Brantley's play through the first four weeks of the season because he wasn't putting up great numbers and wasn't airing it out against opposing defenses. But in the first half against Alabama, he played better than he ever has at Florida. He tossed a perfect ball to Andre Debose for a 65-yard touchdown on the first offensive play and had 190 yards before his injury in the second quarter. He actually ended up leading the game in passing. But when Brantley went out, Florida's offense collapsed. Driskel looked lost against that Alabama defense and never got the ball moving like Brantley did. If Brantley is out for significant time, the Gators could be in trouble. Brantley wasn't flashy, but he led the offense the way the coaches wanted him to. He also wasn't a true freshman like Driskel, who might be taking over for an offense hitting a long road stretch.

Based on this, Tigers win 27-10.

I think this will be similar to the Bama game in that UF will hang early. I think Muschamp will grill into the defense's poor tackling vs Richardson and Lacy, and it might be a close game going into half.

But LSU pulls away like Bama does in the 2nd half, causing our freshman QB to throw a pick or 2.

LSU 27, UF 10 IMO.

I know you are very partial to JJ...but seriously....when do you expect him to get all these chances. These coaches aren't stupid and they aren't going to frick up a good thing going...why do you think they yanked JJ on third and 6? They know who passes better, and now they aren't scared of Lee........you can promote your boy as much as you want...but he ain't playing significant minutes unless Lee gets hurt. Now, don't go pulling some Tonya Harding shite now...just to get jj in the game.

Is lee going to have two pick six's? Otherwise, apparently you didn't watch the second half the other night with that true fresh dropping 9 yards and holding the ball....then running......he is in for trouble. Florida will likely not score double digits unless we give them gifts....fact.

against the sec? Kentucky don't count. We will have to play better on offense to beat Florida.

good god dude...do you ever stop? i mean seriously.....we know who you want at qb....but i mean seriously...come on.....they will wear florida down just like every other team they have played...maybe even worse because florida will have massive amounts of 3 and outs...

Florida's special teams are bad arse. I think Demps and Rainey and the guy who spells McClure wrong will keep Florida in the game throughout the first half, but we will wear down their defense by the second.
