That game was crazy. One that isn't talked about much was the houston game in 96 or 97. I think we were trailing by 3 tds going into the 4th....if played in the last 10 years the stadium would have emptied.

no shite....the people that fund LSU and TS would be pissed we were losing to fricking Houston.

we weren't the same team then as we are now

In 96 I never thought a National title was possible at LSU

Students don't have a true appreciation for how good we are. They didn't see anything before Saban era to understand. It's a spoiled fan base. Combine that with the mind blowing fact that more people would rather tailgate than go inside the game. I don't understand it.

There's just not enough time for drinking in B.R.

Having lived through the Hallman era, I watch the games on tv until the end...even if we're up by 50.

I don't remember...the game was still in doubt and many fans left before the 4th quarter...nothing like the auburn game.

I didn't make it to any home games after the South Carolina game last year so I wouldn't know about those but of the ones I went to I don't recall that happening.

I just have one thing to say

People leaving early when we are blowing out Auburn in the first half beats the hell out of the people leaving early in the 90's because we were getting our asses blown out.

um it was awful weather and we were beating the crap out of Auburn

it felt like a non conference game with a potential monsoon

we'll be fine

last year I was at the Alabama and USCe games in the stadium...the Alabama game was probably the most consistently loud game I've ever attended...USCe was loud as hell, too.

CALM DOWN BIG BOY

Not to mention, in last year's Alabama, South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Miss. State home games, we had capacity crowds.
In fact, you couldn't have squeezed a flea mosquito in for Bama and USCe, and it was like that ALL THE WAY TO THE FINAL GUN.

Who the frick gives a crap?

Obviously I do, and probably a good portion of the people that leave and go to tailgates where they can eat/drink and watch TV.

I'd rather pay for it at the stadium then sneak it in like I'm 21. I'm in my thirties and I make enough money to buy what I want. And, I want a beer, not Jack, I want a buzz, not to be wasted.

I have one, but obviously sometimes the signal is sketchy in there. We need WIFI like the NFL is going.

I'm just explaining why some people (myself) would like updates/information, places to catch some action from other important games on TV, etc... I enjoy watching the Tigers, but the experience can be improved upon. Obviously others agree.

People always do this with the past... It was not as good as people like to make up in their minds.
