Dear Will Wade, Why do we jump at

every ball or head & shoulder fake?
We jump really well. Why don't we stay on the ground until the shooter goes up and then defend the shot?

THis early jump constantly puts us out of position and allows an uncontested shot.

Another thing taught in HS basketball by coaches that have to win with fundamentals instead of superior athletes.
