Lately, it’s been one big catch per year and underwhelming quality overall. I think he’s earned the right to be here, but those calling for him to be the DC or acting like he walks on water are living in the past.

If you’re thinking about downvoting, just look at who our #2 corner was last year when Stingley went down. And what we brought in this year to fix it...

Well, I will say the CB’s ( Stingley and Ricks ), played pretty well this year. It can be noted that they were the best CB’s in the nation and pretty polished coming out of high school. For the aforementioned reason is why I think they played well this year though. Flott played terrible and saw flaws in technique with other guys also not named Stingley or Ricks. That, I put on Raymond. I will say, Ward got better as the season went on. I don’t think Raymond is terrible but could he do a better job? Absolutely. I think some of the deficiencies get overlooked because of his recruiting abilities.
