I wouldn't change a thing about how that play went. Touchdowns are hard to come by, especially red zone touchdowns.
If given the choice, I'd have preferred he throw the ball, simply to avoid taking 2 big hits, but me questioning his decision is just picking nits.
I'm just arguing with people saying Boutte wasn't open. That was a perfectly executed pick play and Daniels easily could have lobbed the ball to the end zone for an easy TD. Is there a chance it's incomplete? Of course there is. But he made much harder throws to Nabers on those 3rd and 4th down plays.
It turned out he made a great play with his legs and got us the go ahead touchdown, so no complaints about that. I love the dynamic threat he provides. I do hope he continues to progress with his reads and improves his decisiveness, but I think he's improved a lot already this season, so I'm optimistic he'll continue getting better.
