Hey guys, how about dropping the religious back-and-forth hijack and remembering the real reason for the thread...

snake, i've heard that story more than once. 
but you're close, he was born in december of 1935. you can always get his birthday by going to his site. in the bar at the top is says established on 12/18/96 which was his birthday present of that year.

God Bless you Dandy One!! Dandy and I sent some emails back and forth on his wife's condition.
My Dad past away of the exact same two diseases.
If your not farmiliar with dementia, it's like alzheimers on steroids. Terrible, just a horrible disease.......

I enjoy each morning visit to Dandy Don's site as much as I enjoy my morning coffee! I wish his wife comfort with her illness and thank her for putting up with Don's devotion to LSU.

givemeabeer, thanks x 2. You made me re-read the post as the NOLA poster did as well. Spot on w/ the reason for the thread as support for Dandy and Mrs. Dandy, and my prayers w/ all involved. I was about to join the religious serve and volley as well but won't, just dissatisfied w/ self and others being Silent Majority. OOPS!
