Chuck Carlton of the DMN wrote the article. Looking for it online now. Says also Oklahoma could drop in if N.Illinois or Boise crack the top 16.

Screw that. Gimme Texas. I was at the Cotton Bowl 10 years ago when Roy Williams and Texas shat all over us. I want revenge and would love nothing more than to score 100 on them.

FWIW I would dig a bowl game ag. Nebraska, make up for some past pain (two Orange Bowls and two Sugar Bowls in the 70s and 80s).

I was too and it was one of the all time miserable games for me. Hungover, freezing cold, listing to their version of Rocky Top non stop, and shitting all over our D. Horrible memories. I need this game.

Yep, I was there too. Invited with free tickets by a Texas Alum. I remember Mark Clayton trying to cover Roy Williams. Game was over by 3rd qtr. I do know this. The Cotton Bowl will do what they want and they love LSU because of their fan base. Keep sending in those requests.
