First call from ATL (Dave):
Comment: Hope we're not tentative come Saturday because this game reminds me of 06 game. Refs decided game. Hopes for aggression.
Q: JL v JJ. How do you justify playing JJ when looking at the stats between the two QBs.
A: I justify both QBS "'we're going to need both sets of skills."

Caller 1 - David from Atlanta - Says its a big game, hopes we're not tentative, this game reminds him a lot of 2006 where we lost 7-3. Thought we were the better team , just too tentative. Wants us to be aggressive. His question - how do you justify playing JJ as compared to JL. JJ has a 90.0 QB rating, compared to JL 149. JJ completion % is 53%, JL is 72%.
Les Miles - The game is going to be approached in a very need to win basis. Two great teams, fighting like hell for victory. If you remember the game in 2006, it was a slugfest. Great defense is competitive, aggressive, and not tentative. He justifies both QBs this way - We need both sets of skills. We need both JJ and Lee to play their best, if not this Saturday, then throughout the year. I'm counting on both of them.

How do you justify playing Jefferson over Lee when Lee has a much better QB rating and a much better completion percentage?

He asked Les how he could justify Jefferson over Lee with Jefferson having a poor QB rating and low percentage and Lee having a fairly better QB rating and vastly better completion percentage.

Everyone calls in and says "START LEE", this is funny

NO LES! WE DON'T NEED BOTH!

Every call should be a Lee/JJ question/comment

Caller 2 - Gary - Wants to expound on what the first caller had to say - says we play both QBs well. He knows the coaches work with them well. He thinks both of them will play well, particularly JJ who will continue to improve. Hopes both get in there and lead us to victory.
Les Miles - It's whoever. If you think about last year, the guy that QB'd our team to a 31-10 victory was JJ. Here is a guy who called in to talk about 2006, but last year was significant as well.

I'm guessing he didn't expand on what skills JJ allegedly has, cause I have no clue.

The coach says we need both skill sets. He has a 7-0 record to prove that he knows what he is talking about. JUST KEEP WINNING!

does Les realize that JJ has regressed this year as a passer?

Caller 3 - Jill (?) - Says there is always a player having a good or bad game - asks if one is producing more than the other (JJ vs JL), will they stay in the game.
Les Miles - If there is a hot hand, absolutely. There is the need for both guys being looked at as the possibility of having the hot hand.
