Yes Cyrus gray has done a good job. But he hasnt seen a SEC defense like LSU's yet. Jeff Fuller is a badass though, but hes nothing our DB's cant handle.. minus hatcher maybe.

You're an idiot... he had an offer. Russell Shepard was trying to convince him to come to LSU instead of A&M.

I know for a fact that he had an offer.. maybe we are talking about a different person then you think but this guy (LINK was for sure wanted by LSU

Thank you two for being above the BS on this, some of these nimrods were starting to sound like Texas fans with the “we didn’t offer” “we didn’t want him” crap.

Gray has surpassed all reasonable expectations since C-Mike went down, but against y’all it would sure be nice to have em both.

Fuller and PP should be entertaining, personally I wouldn’t test the one/one, but Tannehill might. With Jeff and PP on an island, it should hopefully open up some crossing/underneath stuff on the other side. That is what we were doing a lot against OU/Neb/texas b/c they all have better than average DB’s. Not PP good, but Prince at Neb is probably #2 in the country behind PP IMO. Should be fun.

Did you Tejas lose to UCLA...and Iowa State...and Kansas State?

I watched all of these games and Texas D did not play like a top 7 Defense in any of these games.

UCLA, Iowa State, and Kansas State marched up and down the field all day on the Texas D. It was not just short fields b/c of Offensive turnovers either.

By the time Ags played UT, rivalry game or not, UT had quit on the season a loooong time ago.

Michael's rb coach at West Brook was coach Peveto......anyone recognize the name? He is the brother of LSU's former DC. I was on the sidelines for the last regular season game and heard that he hard a "soft offer" that would become an actual offer if "some kid from Leesville didnt commit."

Come on down Mr Ford

not entirely true- read above

again, being Peveto's player, everyone thought he was a shoe in. It all depended on Ford.

Until Texas took the early lead. But you are correct it was probably Cyrus’s 80+ yarder untouched even with the fleet of foot Blake “Hands” Gideon in lukewarm pursuit that reminded them they had given up on the year, b/c that was about when they started quitting again.

ET - started drinking too early and am spelling like a 3rd grader.

The Aggies havent proven they can stop a balanced offense yet......of course, we havent proven that we can run one so it may be a wash

signed,

Ryan Mallet

Mallet had less to do with it than errors in the secondary. Arkansas is a good team and Mallet is a good QB but if we just make the tackle, those are just nice gains and 0 points.

Their defense was still good. #7 in total defense this year.

A lot of teams ran at will against them all year.

I love how LSU is the only team that can use this excuse. That is why any team loses.

You can run, but Von Miller will find you.

Had the same thought. I enjoy that when a team struggles it's never because the other team is doing well.

No other team in the world ever deserves to win a game against LSU. It is like it is literally impossible for another team to have better players, louder stadium, or anything but a better coach.

You should see the shite posted after a loss, or a win for that matter.

Most people would concede that the SEC is the best conference, there is overwhelming evidence to support that, but people on hear think it is impossible to have a good player outside of the conference.

Wasn't Michael recruited heavily by LSU?

Recruited but never offered. The guy was a 5 star on rivals, but for some reason he never got offers from LSU, Texas, or Oklahoma....and he wanted offers from all three.

If we had offered, Christine Michael would have been an LSU Tiger.

A&M was his fall back plan. It is kind of a shame that such a great back fell to them.

If any team needed Michael, it was Texas. Big whiff for Mack.
