sure just like days of old, saban running toefield for a yard or 2, and maybe bringing in the better RB, Dom Davis every so often.

shep was not a rec last yr and he was a freshman leanring the offense........he also happened to be a lot thinner too.....this year as a young sophomore he will see more touches this year......as a junior he will be ready with the rest of a very mature team....you guys have no clue.....lsu should of won this game by 51-10.....in experience changed that....less cant help the fact that his team is young young young.....they been to a bowl every year and will go to one again this year.......next year sec championship i feel like and a possible bcs bowl....

So how did Trent Richardson and Julio Jones do so well as true freshman, AJ Green do so well? It is bs and you know it.

to give as less as possible,

did that help us last year? or the year before?

so without our super-complex-yet-easily-observed-and-dismantled-by-our-opponents offense we are basically inept and incapable of getting a first down with our vanilla-yet-surprisingly-difficult-to-execute-run-run-pass-kick offense?

and still scored 30.........would have scored 44 at least if it wasnt for turnovers and penalties.....you know it, i know it........your talking smack.....haterz....

...1st game'
...on road
...against a bowl bound team
...and won the game
...young young defense
...improved offense who turned over ball 4 times and had some stupid penalties and still scored 30.....

we will be alright....if you got something to say about that then you jus hating.....

Has the program fallen so low that a 2nd-tier ACC team with half its starters out is a team we shouldn't even come close to beating, and barely squeaking out a close win is some amazing accomplishment? If so, then the coaching staff is worse than I thought.
6 starters did not play 2 of which were good....the others were easily replaced it dont matter thought...unc was supposed to be good from last year...they have much more sr leadership than lsu has by far and still lost.....10 starters played on offense for unc and the younger way more in experienced lsu defense held them enough to win.....unc prepared their players for weeks knowing they may not play ....''u jus hatin

unc is a very good team

A "very good team" that will be doing well to finish 3rd in their division in the ACC.
the acc has bc, miami and vt that could beat any team with the exception of alabama , could beat any team in the sec...so you have no idea who you talking about....

So running him off tackle or around the end like the first half would give opponents more info?

against vandy and after vandy lsu should only use bread and butter stuff and not show much as close as they can to get close to florida

We have bread and butter stuff? What exactly is our "bread and butter" on offense?

this yr they can make a bowl but wont win over 8/9 games and we should be fine with that......get used to it and accept it

No thanks. I had three decades of getting used to LSU being mediocre, and I never accepted it then. I'm not likely to now. I hope nobody at LSU ever will again, but it seems many already do, starting with you.

Look, you be as pleased as punch over a mediocre football program if you want, but you bring your arse on here lecturing me about it and telling me to accept it, you are wasting your time. But then, for someone who revels so in mediocrity, I can't imagine time would be worth much anyway.
this is not a contest about who has a losing or medocrity in their heart because of how they live........im telling you what will be dawg!!!.........making a bowl with this team this year will be hard enough although very doable....teams go thru hills and valleys.........lsu been in the hills for 10 years and this year although will be very positive for the young tigers(who have great young talent) will lose 4/ maybe 5 games this year.....next year i predict 10-2/11-1.....in 2012....10-2/11-1.....chavis defense in 11/12 will be off the chain....offense in 10/11 will be good then great...dont get mad nobody trying to say we settleing for mediocrity....that is 6-6 or 5-7 with an occasional 7-5....lsu has and always be better than that.........les miles is a very good coach.....nobody else in amercia could come in and out recruit , yeah noboy else in amercia!!! can out recruit saban , meyer to the east and nobody can out recruit mac at texas....or stoops at okla.....bring in anybody wont change things.....we got chavis thank god and les does well with what he has.....

Yeah, Toefield was clearly outclassed.

now that's going out on a limb
no its not ...lsu should reutrn 9 of 11 starters along with others will play alot on defense and return 9 plus starters on offense.....when is the last time we saw that where both unit will return that many starters.......07....yup thats right....i know football and i see the enormous potential of that defense...they may need a few games to mature but they will be good.....the players look very different than years past.....next yr lsu will have a 10/11 win season

We actually didn't return that many starters from 2006. We lost four first rounders for starters. New starters on offense included Stewart RT, Hitt RG, Matt Flynn QB, Hester RB, Jordan FB, Steltz SS, Taylor FS, and Pittman DE.

So although damn near everyone had him as their top QB/Athlete, he is not. Okay! You have lost all credibility with me.
