I just hope we didn’t pay an arm and a leg for him.

Charles Dickens was way ahead of his time as an LSU fan….”it was the best of times, it was the worst of times…”

I’m biased played ball with Cory in high school. Obviously it’s been a long arse time since I’ve been around him but I can tell you he was a good dude an and football smart and obviously a great athlete. IMO blaming him for the last years with Pellinie and the Ogre isn’t really fair. He didn’t call that defense and Orgeron had is hands all over it. I think LSU can do a lot worse.

IMO . . .

When CBK came here, he did so against the backdrop of Les-fatigue and O-disgust. So anyone associated with either and not retained by CBK were labeled as O-loyalists.

Since CR wasn't retained, all things negative about were foregrounded and all things positive were backgrounded.

All I can say is our DB seemed to flourish under CR and flounder without him.

He's a spoiled prima donna who thinks his shite doesn’t stink. Bad hire.

I’m pretty much in the middle. On one hand he was one of the best assistants in the country for a very long time, on the other hand his track record under Orgeron and at UF was not good at all to say the least.

I'm here as well. My issue was not that we lost Raymond it was that we did not replace him with a very good coach. So we needed to fix that mistake whether it had been with Raymond or a quality college DB coach of any name.

I think he got a bit full of himself here and like O maybe coasted at the end. Maybe part of his failures at Florida were that he didn't like it there, and therefor was not at his best....I don't know.

But I think he's been a bit humbled perhaps and will come back with the fire he once had here. At least that's my hope.

I hope CR is aligned. I think BK must have been super cautious and maybe even got to know Corey before trusting him enough to hire him. Corey needs to coach and recruit at a high level. Glad you're back CR.

It’s a message board, and that’s why.

And it doesn’t matter anymore. He’s here, so maybe the board should stop taking a page out of Ryan Clark’s page and try to sew little seeds of doubt about a coach like ryan’s done before.

Get behind this coach and pull for him and our DBs, dammit. It’s a done deal. It’s not that hard.
