Well our offense did not look any better than last year. Only Meauxrons think it was Crowton fault.
Are you blind, retarded, or both?
Once again: 500 yds of offense... 16 offensive points .

might not have to wait that long. The QB for Maryland was the ACC rookie of the year last year. I hope they are happy with where is si because he will never develop anymore under Crowton.

It's Maryland. They will probably name a county after him tomorrow.
Hey, now. I'm a native Marylander who happens to love LSU football. I'm no Crowton fan by any stretch, but let's not insult the Old Line State, shall we?

Some notes by observers:
28 first downs.
Oh, and they had this offensive output in a driving rainstorm.
That does not sound like our offense the last two years.
quote:
After one quarter, Maryland already has 12 first downs compared to Miami's three. They're using a bunch of screen passes effectively, the running backs are catching the ball, and O'Brien completed 13 of 17 passes for 137 yards in the new no-huddle, up-tempo offense.
quote:
Maryland quarterback Danny O'Brien. With the exception of one interception in the end zone, O'Brien has looked like he has been playing in this offense his entire career, instead of just learning it this offseason.
quote:
Maryland ran 18 more plays than Miami in the first half and racked up 311 total yards already. Miami hasn't been able to stop the onslaught of screen passes, and Maryland's new, no-huddle, up-tempo offense has been dictating the pace all night.

The pace of this offense is moving quickly, and Miami is having a hard time keeping up.

Multiple red zone failures.
One touchdown after getting into the red zone time and time again.
Multiple passes behind the line of scrimmage on third and long.
Running unsuccessfully for three straight downs in the red zone despite the D stacking the box.
Despite outplaying the opponent, needing scores by the D to help win it.
Despite our O playing a depleted D, having the game go down to the wire.
Gee, that sounds familiar.

There's nothing that can be said to change the tards mind on Crowton. Maryland could have put up 750 yds and 7 tds and they would still believe that for some reason he is not a good cood.

And 1 TD vs. an ACC defense...... GTFO!

They almost lost because his sorry arse offense couldnt put it in the endzone. I'm embarrassed for some of you.
It was horrible to watch.

Got it. So you are saying that the offense you saw from Maryland tonight is the same offense we have seen from LSU the last two years.
Please provide me with the link to the box score where our offensive production was 500 yards and our passing totaled 350 yards.
I just want to help you prove your point. I'll wait...

Well we seen Crowton's offense tonight against a depleted Miami team.
His QB was above average and the play calling sucked.
LSU's defense would have eaten up that bubble screen or whatever they called it.
Let's wait a few more weeks to be fair, but for him calling Les Miles out that wasn't too impressive.
