That is correct that Miles is keeping JJ in as much as he is in. If it were up to Crowton, you'd seen JL before the WV game.

A 2 QB system, IMHO, will be a hindrance, as I am sure you will agree, n'est pas?

He has worsened with each game except last night, but LSU won despite this.
I'd argue against this. Statistically he looked better this game. If you include how many pass plays he took a sack or failed to throw the ball and tried to scramble with it, I see the same JJ as 2009, that would rather not risk making himself look bad at the cost of LSU going three and out. I'd also argue that from a non-statistical perspective, JJ's completions were ugly. Several of them almost picked. Some of them thrown so innacurately that yards after the catch were hindered.
Lee showed that he gives defenses more to worry about in the redzone at the end of the game by putting two perfect passes in TT's grasp. Quite a bit more nerve wracking for a defense than figuring out who's going to get the ball on the run.
We've seen quite a few redzone attempts lead to field goals because we wanted to run it in.
Also, that one big run JJ had versus UT. The one time he made a running back like cut. These are cuts that natural scrambling qbs (RS, or Ware or any athelete we might have that can throw a simple pass) make all the time. My point here is that if RS was running these read options... then defenses would have this imaginary multiple threats they would have to contain. As we saw vs. UF, JJ does NOT demand respect on read options. They know one defender can make the play on him.
The punchline is: JJ no longer benefits LSU by being in the football game at the QB position.

...do you not anticipate specific plays once you see the personnel in the game? So, if we see it, opponent's coaches obviously do...that falls to the feet of GC
And yet, LSU manages to have game winning drives at the end of the last two games.
Wow, we're just sooooo lucky...
