Credit UGA's O line...I know our D needs work, but give credit where it's due.

With all the D bashing going on this morning, and I'm not saying it's unwarranted, does anyone recognize that UGA's O-line is beastly??? And for that matter their D-line wasn't bad either yesterday...They were the more physical team on the LOS overall...not by much, but it was the difference in the outcome.

Instead of bashing your own team's players and coaches, tip your hat to the other team and move on...LSU is not in a downward spiral to becoming a .500 team. The foundation is solid and the future is bright.

No question that they ran, and stopped the run - controlled both lines of scrimmage - we still passed at will on their back 7, even with the sacks and such. I thought we had enough time to score the last touchdown.

Seriously, they don't make a 55-yard FG OR we don't muff the punt OR we reduce the number of sacks by 1 OR we stop just 1 of the 3rd and longs - any ONE of those, and we win this game on the road.

5 O-line vs 4 D-line.

I think LSU should have did more blitzing, especially the zone type stuff.

It was obvious the LSU secondary was getting burned. Might as well did what GA did...take the chance on with the D-line.

we should credit Auburn's OLine too bc they gashed us in the same manner that UGA did.

That is a lot of if's but I do agree to a point. You can also add in the two fumbles that bounced right back to Georgia that could have went just as easily to us and big huge game changers as well. Both teams played their asses off, it happens.

I ain't giving credit to their O- line. They got away with blatant holding all night. Their run D was pretty damn good though.

Should we also give credit to TCU , Kent St, UAB,and Auburn for their stellar O-Line play?

If any of them would have scored 44 points on us, then yes...

Some of you don't get it. If you have deficiencies on defense, it takes a great offense to capitalize on it, which UGA has, and we still almost won the game.

Contrary to some "fans" who are throwing in the towel on the season, the coaches and players will keep working hard to get better. I can support that.

Their pulling lineman on sweeps just wiped out our defenders on the edge and the backs just made one cut to daylight. Very impressive.
