I am glad for him that he healed up and got the extension.
during the BCS champ game, I was thinking he was washed up, just too beat up.
Good for him. Glad he made it. I noticed he was on the field for the Bears getting some real (not after the game was decided and not just when they had 6 backs in against a hail mary)

I am extremely excited that I get to continue watching Steltz play in a Bears uniform. He performed admirably as an emergency starter for Chicago during the final quarter of last season.

Approximately $1.64 million base, though the contract includes significant performance bonuses that could increase the value of the deal if Steltz meets certain thresholds.
