When Skip arrived at LSU he scheduled a talk at Steinberg's for 11 AM to build a fan base. He arrived about 10:45 and the parking lot was full and the place was jam packed. Skip was thrilled that LSU fans were excited and eager to support his program. A minute or so later everyone began walking out. The duck calling exhibition was ending. Skip gave his LSU baseball presentation to four people ( who were probably waiting for the duck calling crowd's trafic to clear). True story.
