Well, I was discussing this with Woodward in early 2020, and I said CC spent $7m on a coach in 2019. So, he went out and signed up Bo Pelini with salary/buyout in the $5.2-6m range and he worked what 6 months. But at some point I had to tell him that he misunderstood me, "$7m was the total salary for all of the coaches at CC in all sports combined".
He was like, "my bad".

Of course, because Woodward would pay them $10m not to show up, kind of like he pays coaches buyouts not to show up for work.
Technically coast carolina didn't spend $7m... they spent a whopping $7.01m on all coaches salaries in all sports.

Woodward was drafting up Bo Pelini's contract, stupid keyboard added two zeroes to Bo's salary due to an error in the hardware. I blame Logitech for the $5m+ buyout. LSU should ban buying Logitech equipment, how in the hell can we trust something that wastes $5m?
The good news out of all this, Bo really thinks they have grown even closer as friends.
