you said many sportswriters were predicting an upset in that game which may have been true but many sportswriters predict upsets for every game. it's a valueless observation that in no way supports your point. clemson was widely considered the favorite in that game. Corso's pick, while not groundbreaking, was a bit of a surprise considering the preseason opinions of these two teams. hindsight is 20/20 but that shouldn't take away from the impressiveness of his prediction based on what we knew at the time.

Corso has made decent picks this season

NEWSFLASH people!!! Corso picking the game, his nose or anything else has NOTHING, and do stress NOTHING to do with what will happen this afternoon, or any game for that matter. Nor does any pick by Lou Granny Holtz or Mark May or any other talking head. Games are won and lost ON THE FIELD.

Actually it does support my point cause Walrus said NOBODY knew it when it fact there were people that did and stated such...

I haven't said anything about Corso's pick and could careless what that guy states, he's there to play the goofball roll and he does it well...

Actually I'm not...there were some sports writers out there that said Clemson would not win the ACC and were over-rated to start the season and that was proven true...so exactly how am I wrong?

How did they get ranked #9? Oh. Right. The sports writers. They're the ones that ranked them there...I'd say that means a majority of them thought that Clemson would be good. Sure...some didn't...but the #9 ranking means that MOST of them did.

Does that clarify?

Really, I don't know why you'd argue this point. Clemson looks like shite now...but going into the season there was no reason to think they'd be anything but great. Would you disagree?

This season -- Corso picked Alabama to beat Clemson, and we see how that turn out...

Yeah Clemson sucks big time...was nowhere near the team they were thought to be this season...

He also picked us against UGA and he picked Terrence Cody as the game changer. Today he picked us and said that JPW would be a game changer. Corso has gotten ALOT better on his picks since last year.

So just because a majority of people think something is correct does it automatically make it correct?

Actually yes I would disagree...that they should be good yes, great, no not IMO...they had proven a consistent pattern of falling short every year no matter the talent they had and they did it again this year...

No, I was correcting you...and my argument was he should not state that NOBODY saw Clemson being not as good as predicted and there were...case closed.

what it boils down to is that you were being a dork by not recognizing that when he said "nobody" he obviously wasn't meaning literally. if there was an inordinate amount of sportswriters calling them overrated, cite them or something showing that it wasn't widely believed that clemson would win.

No, I was just arguing for arugment sake to give a gump a hard time at first, but it was you and others that decided to take it to another level...

And I never stated an inordinate amount did now did I? An inordinate amount would put it in the majority and we all know, well most know, that was not the case...

I would say the dork is you after I stated such that I was just him a hard time but decided to take it up a notch...

No the retard would be you that took it more serious than I when I answered your question earlier I was just giving him a hard time at first but wanted to get more serious about it...

i didn't know we had a level system

i was just pointing out that you were arguing a silly point by being overly analytical about his word choice while ignoring meaning of his post. just "giving a gump a hard time" is a weak excuse. he was contributing to the conversation. you were the one being a prick for no reason

It not even close to being excuse nor weak when in fact it was exactly what I was doing at first as well as what many other posters do as well to other posters from other schools especially gameday...you've been here long enough to know this...

No its you that became a prick about it and continuing to be so when it was already dropped with he and I when I stated such that I was just doing it to give him a hard time when he asked...which I do stand corrected it was he that asked me about if I was just arguing to do it, not you...that I will give you...
